Let the learning begin.
(And never end.)
The public K-8 charter school known as Banning Lewis Ranch Academy is now in its fourth year of operation. You see, in our earliest planning stages, we decided that knowledge should be one of the cornerstone values of this community. So it only seemed appropriate to make a neighborhood school one of the very first features in our very first village. BLRA opened in the fall of 2006 and is designed to offer students a number of advantages, including performance-based education, high academic standards, gifted and special education programs, and integrated learning with the acclaimed Paragon® Curriculum.
We're working to build a community that fosters lifelong learning. We want parents to be able to walk their kids to school, then perhaps take a few more steps to attend a workshop at the nearby village Ranch House. We're planning to build relationships with local colleges and other organizations with the idea of bringing a continual flow of lectures, seminars and learning practically to your doorstep. We're even designing some of our trails in a way that could let you learn something about the history, geography or culture of this place as you're taking your morning walk.
Living at Banning Lewis Ranch, you may find yourself learning something every time you leave the house.
